GAWD I love hand animating stuff, I love just getting to bring shit to life. I love being able to just draw something that I'm inspired to and not relying on something else to do the work for me. I just feel like it's a good moment to appreciate getting to do 2D animation at all!

Air brush will definitely help. Otherwise you gotta do a few thin coats.
