Today marks two years into the livestreamed US-Israeli genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza, a part of a broader and ongoing Nakba of settler-colonialism, apartheid and relentless ethnic cleansing by Israel since 1948 to eliminate the Indigenous Palestinian people. During this time Israel has also escalated its ethnic cleansing in the occupied West Bank and its horrific attacks in Lebanon, Yemen, Irag, Iran, Syria and most recently Qatar and Tunisia. Yet, we remain united in resisting not only these crimes but also the underlying, 77-year-old Israeli regime of colonial oppression.

However, the tide is turning. Sanctions were the final blow to the apartheid regime in South Africa. Given the deep dependency of Israel upon global markets, imposing targeted and lawful sanctions on it is a highly effective measure to help end its genocide and dismantle its regime of apartheid that has oppressed Palestinians for decades. Colombia, Turkey, and other global south states are imposing energy, trade, or military embargoes on Israel. In the West, Spain, Slovenia, Scotland, among others now support sweeping sanctions. Our "South Africa moment" is approaching like never before.

Genocidal Israel is feeling the repercussions of isolation and exclusion from below —led by tens of millions of solidarity activists and movements for racial, economic, social, gender and climate justice worldwide. Israel's Prime Minister, chief genocidaire who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity, has recently admitted this unprecedented global isolation. Governments and corporations, particularly in the US and Europe, have enabled these crimes by arming, funding and shielding genocidal Israel from accountability. They, as well as complicit institutions and media outlets, have partnered with Israel in dehumanizing Indigenous Palestinians, repressing the advocacy of Palestinian liberation, and dealing a fatal blow to international law in the process. Ending this complicity is not just a moral imperative-it is a legal obligation.

Palestinians refuse to give in to despair. Our hope is rooted in decades of popular resistance and resilience, the growth of global solidarity, and the rise of grassroots power. We call on you to build on this momentum, disrupt business-as-usual, and challenge every government, corporation and institution complicit in Israels crimes. Now is the time to escalate and peacefully disrupt complicity for Palestine, for humanity! Intensify BDS efforts now more than ever to isolate genocidal Israel and its complicit institutions on every front. Our united efforts are bringing us closer to the dawn-let's make it rise.
