We're a U.S. based organization, so yes, at least to start. But we'd like to do a lot of these things outside the U.S. too. For example, no reason a writer's retreat can't be anywhere in the world, same with a conference, etc.

As an FYI, January 1 is just our next open sub window. We'll accept solarpunk horror subs during any of our 2026 open windows through July! And the issue will publish in November 2026. So you don't have to scramble to have work ready in January if that's too fast a turnaround!
