Ok, some people didn't like the AI image I posted yesterday. I get it, it's a bit weird, but I thought the technology of animating an old photo was interesting. Anyway, perhaps y'all will enjoy this movie clip better. #soledadmiranda in Canción de cuna, 1961

Vampyros is more iconic I think, and more appealing to the casual viewer unfamiliar with Franco… however this one features her best acting
Epic and one of her best performances!
Enjoy your summer vacations! #soledadmiranda in a family photo

Instagram user @akajessg alerted me that Franco/Miranda films "The Devil that Came from Akasava has finally been released in high resolution (2K) on FlixOle platform, as well as Las Vampiras with its Spanish dub." Sadly, these only appear to be viewable in Spain.
I finally made screencaps from the film and created a page about it on the website: soledadmiranda.com/ratas.html (en español aquí: soledadmiranda.com/ratases.html )
As teased last November, I found the last missing piece of Soledad's filmography (other than Sex Charade, which Jess Franco himself told me was completely lost): the play Las ratas. It was Soledad's debut on Spanish television and one of the most serious, dramatic productions she was ever in.
Lucky New Yorkers will soon have the chance to see Soledad's two most famous films on the big screen. Not only that, the presentation is in a new 4k restoration (know what that means?). Roxy Cinema is showing Vampyros Lesbos (July 18 and 19) and She Killed in Ecstasy (July 16 and 22) in Manhattan.
