Perpetually tired. She/her
My partner meticulously rate every book they read and this is the first time they've checked *every* box for a book @chucktingle.bsky.social

You know how in the music video for Rock and Roll Dreams Come True how Meat Loaf is a magical jukebox hobo helping lost teens? Oh you didn't? It's a thing we as a culture must remember.

I'm watching a new Swedish show and the child acting was pretty good so I looked him up... it's another fucking Skarsgård kid..

I've been (very)slowly making progress through Silksong and while I do think the game is way too difficult for me, it's not the bosses that are my issue. It's the regular enemies and the frequency of arena-fights.

Have we considered that the shooter thought he was a member of "the cartel"?

I don't think an assassination is a good thing, and will not lead to good things. That doesn't mean I don't find it funny, or think it could have happened to a more deserving guy.

Actually not true, there are some names that come to mind.

Peacemaker S2 intro obviously had an impossible task living up to S1 but damn if it doesn't do some great things.

Related. People in a hissyfit over how the new DC movie canon works. "How can The Suicide Squad be canon if.." it literally doesn't matter. You get what's going on, and new fans doesn't have to know. It's so easy.
I always find it amusing when film critics ding a film for something they imagine someone else might find confusing. I feel I've seen so many Superman critiques about how Superman skips the origin, and while *they* get it, someone else might not

I've been wanting to try 3D modelling for a while, primarily CAD, but ideally Blender. I think I could learn but I find it hard to take the time to study and practice. I work infront of a computer all day, I don't want to sit there too much on my free time.

I think it's important to understand, though TERFs will insist otherwise, that they would not mind a man offering to help. They will construct social rules and swear by their life on them to excuse that they hate to see trans people.
I wrote to M&S about the stupid lingerie department story - confirms nobody offered a bra fitting to a teenage girl. The Telegraph and JK can (always) do one.

I'm pretty sure they refer to you as "researchers" because otherwise other people got your exact same results when using AI therapists. (It's within the first few minutes)

I don't want to ascribe it as an act of great tactics, but nomatter the intent, I think itch's nuclear NSFW ban might the best way this is handled in the long run. They didn't try and implement a half-way solution but implemented an obviously bad one. That's good because it hilights how this is bad

Do you ever think about how bizarre it is that the Arrowverse existed and was like a huge thing for a decade?
And that for all it's ups and downs was a fun thing? That came from "Arrow"? A grimdark take on a B-lister in which the hero spent his firts few seasons just murdering people?

I'm seeing Superman in less than an hour. I am unabashedly hyped.

My latest for The Guardian:
A government that claims to take concerns over crime and national security seriously, while ignoring violent neo-nazi groups, will struggle with its credibility.
Sweden has a long tradition of refusing to talk about racism. Racism could still decide the next election:
A rightwing minister told Sweden to get tough on crime – until his own son was caught in a Nazi scandal | Martin Gelin
In our current political climate, why is migration minister Johan Forssell surprised that a teenage boy might be drawn to extremism? asks journalist Martin Gelin

Sometimes I get tired talking to programmers. So many of them doesn't seem to understand that just because their code does exactly what it is supposed to,doesn't mean it produces the result people want or need.

I've been casually playing Blue Prince for a week or so. Very casually, only 1 or 2 runs per day. I just had my first conspiracy moment as I figured something out.. now I just want to draw red twine across my noticeboard to figure it all out.
