The mod is finished! Thank you for 10k on other website! It includes 2 unique characters with unique physics and sfx, as well as a resource pack that visually overhauls the game! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!

I think I've gotten it to the point where it's mostly usable, would anyone be interested in testing? Specifically looking for people who would be willing to make their own characters.

Once I finish my weight gain mod you should be able to make her as large as you'd like, given it's completely configurable per-character

We've got per-weight physics and hitboxes now...
Everything is defined in the characterinfo json, so hopefully some fun things will be made once it's finished.

Thankfully the setup I have right now allows for per-character weight levels, so for example you can have toadette with 2 and another character with 5!

It's quite buggy in it's current state, so a release might not be for a while.
Another limiting factor is that I'm not a sprite artist, so I would need someone else's help to add extra weight levels.

Thanks! Sadly there's no way to modify the game's scripting outside of opening the project in Godot, so it isn't very non-programmer friendly to add stuff...

and yeah! I did take a lot of inspiration from Sonic 2 XL, I just really like the mechanic of a character getting larger with health pickups~

I really enjoyed @honeyswells.bsky.social's bottom heavy Toadette mod for SMB1 Remastered, decided to do a bit of tinkering with the game to add a weight gain mechanic~

i may have gotten bored, and decided to mod a big fat toadette into that mario remaster that's been floating around. search it up!
