You can play Halo 2 and 3 but other than that no, you can't enjoy them because the Halo writers are terrible at writing them and portraying them. There are a few Sangheili moments in the books that are alright but other than that it's pretty bad

There is Meduz 'Ra'ashai from the book Outcasts who is fat, plus a few other minor characters from other books. Every other Sangheili character is also sexy unless they're appearing in Halo 4 or 5.

Sorry to say this, but if you accept the fact that Halo Studios are terrible and 99% wont put Elites in, then it's way easier to move on, and enjoy Elites in different ways, perhaps in different games. I mean they've made all of their games with no playable Elites; the evidence is all there

I read in a recent leak that the multiplayer will be a separate project from CE and you can bet your ass there will be no Elites in it. Why would they suddenly change their xenophobic minds?

I've never played Infinite (have to play as a disgusting spartan) but yeah people have said the multiplayer is good (even though it looks like a cartoon). But the campaign looks fucken awful from what I've seen. The characters are so cringe and so is their dialogue. It also looks really barebones

Honestly it's funny how they've given up on their shitty narrative they've created for the second time (gave up on Halo 5's story as well) and they're now gonna try and remake a successful game made by someone else because they are hopeless at making it themselves. They're only going to make CE shit

I can't weight for this Halo CE remake to be absolute dogshit like Halo 4, Halo 5 and Halo Infinite, and also have no playable Elites whatsoever, as if Halo Studios haven't learned a single lesson on how to make an actual Halo game in the past 15 years, or even just a good game for that matter
