Last night's cinema trip: After The Hunt

Not a perfect film, and I totally respect why a lot of people didn't rate it. But I was frequently hooked (my heart was in my throat during one scene) and I adored a lot of the cinematography choices.

I only spoke to him briefly, but it meant a lot to shake his hand & thank him for the years of inspiration he's given me.

I was hoping I'd played it cool, but my expressions in the photos Nadine O’Mahony kindly took tell a different story... 🤦‍♀️ I truly hope Guillermo didn't mind my dorky enthusiasm!

An unforgettable night last night at the @directors-uk.bsky.social screening of Frankenstein.

Not only were we lucky enough to see the film early, but it was followed by a Q&A with @realgdt.bsky.social AND Alfonso Cuarón!!

And then I even got to say a quick hello to Guillermo afterwards.

Last week we were in Hitchin, filming lots of content for our lovely client at Sankara Imports. It's always such a pleasure to work with them, and it was great to see their new shop (which is looking brilliant!).

For so many years I have wandered round Leicester Square, gazing up at all the epic cinemas and dreaming of the day when one of my films would be shown there. Well, earlier this month - thanks to NFTS and Prime Video - that dream became a reality.

People who attended our industry screening got an early glimpse of this image in the brochure, but I'm delighted to share it with you all now.

Lacuna is such an important film about life after trauma and the way we can use art to process our feelings.

I cannot wait for our festival run!
