I never learned how to do art digitally, so I always work with traditional media, usually pencils (graphite and colored), pens, Sharpies, and alcohol markers.

While I was out gift shopping with my dad today, he asked me what Umamusume was (I guess because he knows I like it?).
So I explained it, and I think he was more confused that there weren't more American horses than he was at the whole idea of it.
He just wants to see Secretariat as a horsegirl.

Day three of trying to acclimate myself to using a screenless art tablet, and I’m still struggling to make cubes and cylinders.

Spending my night watching a documentary about Louisiana on YT while cloaking in my cheap Walmart blanket, and man, it's getting me right sappy.
Haven't been to see my dad's family in Louisiana in *at least* 14 years, and this is making me feel at home and missing it all at the same time.

I really enjoyed Dynasty Warriors 9, even though it's widely disliked. I will admit it's a little rough around the edges, but the open world of ancient China is still a lot of fun to traverse!
For the other, I've never liked TLoZ: A Link to the Past, despite many, many attempts to give it a chance.

Been thinking this morning, about what might be bothering me about my art style is that I can never figure out the right balance between Western and Eastern influences.
There’s elements of both, as it’s always been, but sometimes I feel like I try to lean too hard into the Eastern inspirations.
