Sourdough discard crackers! Added ingredients: nutritional yeast, mixed herbs (sage, thyme, rosemary and oregano) chilli powder, poppy seeds and brushed with chilli oil plus sprinkled with Himalayan pink salt and ground black pepper. #sourdough #crackers #baking #canadian

For this loaf (and another 2), I replaced 1/3 of water with ricotta whey, and added lemon zest, fresh basil and dried dill. Tastes like summer! Thanks @sourdough2021.bsky.social for inspiration!

A sprinkling of snow here today - time to make more Christmas mince pies (with a crumble topping). After many years of trying to get my pastry right, I think I’ve cracked it - 8oz plain flour, 2oz lard, 2oz spreadable Lurpak, 2 floz water, whizz in the food processor. #baking #christmas
