For the "Yes in God's Backyard" movement to realize its full potential, we need a rapid expansion of smaller projects. These projects will be more adaptable to the needs of a congregation and neighborhood, providing an unprecedented diversity of models to learn from and more success in the long run.

Traditional design values are evident in few new towns.
They are present in most old towns, but none are present in the typical development of modern suburban America. And that’s the problem.
