“I already fucking know that,” Vaggie snaps at him, and she makes herself take a deep breath. “But if you hadn’t been doing drugs, is the pain you were dealing with something you could have survived?” Angel barely begins to understand where she’s going with this, but he still needs help. “I…I don’t…” Still crouched in front of him, she snatches a hand out to take the blade from where he’s holstered it inside the top of his boot. She lifts and holds it in front of his face. “You could stab yourself with this. Right now. End everything for yourself, no more regeneration. No more respawning. No more pain, no more self hatred, no more mistakes, no more failing and disappointing the people you tricked into loving you.” She sees through every last shield he has up, because she has the same things she hates about herself, and Angel’s tears start to fall again. “How much is that tempting you?” Vaggie says. Promise to not give up on yourself, Husk had said only days ago. Angel curls forward, burying his face into Fat Nuggets' back as he tries to get his tears under control. It’s so fucking tempting, and he hates it. He hates how much relief he knows he's going to get if he decides to do that right now. “Look at me.” What comes into sight when he lifts his head again is Vaggie reaching behind her to pull something from her belt - not something. A baggie of powder that Angel recognizes, that had been in his room a few months ago. Holding the bag out in one hand, she twirls the blade in the other to offer him the handle directly. “Does this first option still look as good as it did a few moments ago?” Vaggie asks in that dry way of hers.

Actually, best thing to do after getting a spam comment is do the thing below, but then read a new fic, or go to an old fic you love, and leave a new comment. We should spread more real love to fight off the bad feelings of getting threats from bots.
