We have tentative selections for the judges. Casting is hard, y’all.

Next up: reviewing the selections for Hylín and Sir Voxian, just in case they somehow magically became less awesome in the last hour.

Sir Voxian came down to a tie, close enough that we went back to the first audition for more material to compare…

But we have our pick. 😤

Next up: selecting our Judges.

We’ve made our selection for Hylín. We’ll move forward and review the finalists for Sir Voxian next, then come back and listen again to be sure.

But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t crazy excited. This person nailed it. NAILED. IT. 😍

The auditions for the Judges have been sorted according to which one each performance is best suited for. Because even tho the 3 judges don’t have names, they do have distinct personalities.

Next up: final selection for Hylín.

Sir Voxian is down to the final 8, with a strong favorite. All their auditions will be reviewed again before final selection is made.

A quick break, and then we’re cycling back to the Judges to select the final 3. 🤩

Hylín is now down to the final 9 contenders and I have to go walk around for a minute until the adrenaline subsides. 💀

All of the performances- literally all of them- gave me the anxiety, which is EXACTLY what was supposed to happen. Narrowing these down is painful bc I wish we could cast you all.

Might as well live skeet the process as it gives me an excuse to go stand next to the AC.

The casting pool for the judges has been whittled down to 18 candidates/ 6 potential actors for each available role.

Fun fact: one of the finalists didn’t audition for a judge, but we put them there anyway.

Just so we’re not keeping anyone in suspense: we won’t be announcing the picks right away. Please don’t feel the need to hang on waiting for them! The cast will go public closer to our release date this autumn.

Audition stats: Judges Edition!

723 total auditions b/w the online form and CCC.

Some were discarded due to not following directions. 😔

68 made it to the initial shortlist. There will not be any callbacks- the three judge roles will be chosen tonight, along with Hylín and Sir Voxian. 🤩
