There seemingly existed a way more detailed version running on Switch 2... but they just scrapped all of it and reduced it to the Switch 1 looking version? And didn't even bother to implement the existing details into the Switch 2 version?

Just learned that Pokemon Legends ZA's world/buildings look like that because of performance issues on the Switch 1?

How, you ask? Because it seems that the whole world is loaded at all times. CONSTANTLY.
There is no LOD system at work. I'm not even a dev, and yet I wonder... how?

Oh boy.

Reviews should obviously be taken with a huge grain of salt, but I can't say I'm hyped about Little Nightmares 3 after Tarsier Studios left the IP to create their own IP called Reanimal.

I absolutely adored LN 1 and 2, but I'll probably pass on 3. I'd rather wait on Reanimal releasing.

The Amazon Prime days have started, meaning lots of first party Nintendo games are currently at their lowest price ever.

I might consider getting Paper Mario and the Mario RPG at these prices.

Zelda EoW and Xenoblade X DE are also well worth that price.

Just heard from the recent DF Direct that Resident Evil Requiem on Switch 2 has an uncapped framerate in handheld mode? And sometimes reaching 60fps because of it?

Meaning through VRR it'll play in more than 30fps? That would be kinda nutty.

I wonder how things will look in docked mode then.

That sure was a "movie for kids"... scared me to no end back then. Heck, still gives me the creeps nowadays.

Definitely one of the reasons I love the horror genre so much nowadays :D

I planned to start Hollow Knight Silksong today, but to be quite honest with you... I think I'll postpone the start to next week.

We have some fantastic weather today at 30°C with lots of Sunshine throughout the day and it'll probably the last time we'll have such great weather this year. (1/2)

After some thinking, especially after the most recent Nintendo Direct and how often we saw PAID DLC for not a lot of content, I decided to spend the 20€ that were intended for the Kirby DLC... into a significantly better investment, which is HOLLOW KNIGHT SILKSONG REEEEE
