Now that we've seen increasingly ludicrous versions of a "naked" dress can we move on to another attention-seeking trend?

In the order releasing Liam and his father, Adrian Conejo Arias, Judge Biery said the case "has its genesis in the ill-conceived and incompetently-implemented government pursuit of daily deportation quotas, apparently even if it requires traumatizing children."

Amazon Bezos spent over $70mil for the rights to and promotion of Melania. They're desperately trying to spin the $8 mil opening weekend (adjusted up from $1-5mil) as a good thing.

The Minn State Patrol used an LRAD as a voice amplifier to order dispersal, saying it did not use the device in a "deterrent setting" specifically intended to cause bodily harm.
BUT also said protesters were within 40 ft of the device, meaning some may have experienced physical pain.
An LRAD was used on protestors a couple days ago in Minnesota for crowd control. Although they thankfully didn't use the warning tone, which is the most damaging sound LRADs can make, it's important to know that Minnesota State Patrol has them out: www.yahoo.com/news/article...
Fact Check: Minnesota authorities used LRAD sound weapon on anti-ICE protesters. But that's not the full story
In extreme cases, sonic weapons can cause nausea, dizziness, and even permanent damage. In this case, officials used it to declare unlawful assembly.

My current read is the most recent in a police procedural mystery series with quirky characters and pithy, sarcasm.

This particular one is full of political countries fighting. *sigh*

I just want a lighthearted murder to solve.

40 years ago, one of my few memories of that age. Stood outside with classmates watching it during PE. I had seen enough launches I knew something was wrong when the trail split, then the coaches all ran to turn off the radio.

All due respect, this sport is cooked. They’re just changing rules to the playoff without universities knowing, kids are making more money than established professional players, teams are allowed to have their coach caught cheating twice in one season and still win a title, it’s fried to a crisp.
NEW: In a previously unreported College Football Playoff change, the Group of 6 spot in 2026 does NOT have to be a conference champion.

It's just the highest-ranked G6 team, a change some G6 leaders didn't even realize until recently.

Quietly, the College Football Playoff’s Group of 6 rep no longer needs to be a conference champ
The idea that the G6 spot could go to a non-champion has been previously unreported and, in some cases, even forgotten by CFP leaders.

Deflating demotion for the puffed-up Napolean wannabe, but not enough. He (along with Noem) set the tone for aggressive, violent behavior that led to injury and death of immigrants and citizens.
BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...
