Hopefully a final update for this summer.
All nearby fires have either been controlled or they’ve moved on. No threats to me currently.
Neighbouring towns have lost homes though, absolutely devastated for the small communities.

Winds pushing it south east though but will be one to watch.
Wind is absolutely punishing us today.

They’re likening it to Black Summer 19/20. I can’t even begin to describe the heat of the sun.
Went outside for 2 minutes and I still feel hot. Like the heat is in my bones.

I’ve recently started a short uni course (hence my absence) and my first assignment is doing things on x-cel and I am so miserably stuck that I’ve broken down and cried 3 times this evening
