A swirling grim psychedelic maelstrom rising up into a universal plane. In the center of it all, a face with bloated lips and hollow torn open eye sockets which are surrounded by shuttering thirsty grotesque pores. Trypophobic tentacles pour out of the being’s mouth and entangle around a triangular structure which pierces it’s own flesh. An automatic semi-abstract drawing, done in ink and colored in a purple pink to olive green gradient. A malformed face, hollow black empty eyesockets, a gaping mouth sprouting multiple rows of teeth and eggs. Wearing two crowns revealing a skull in the flesh. A black and white pen and ink illustration. Stippling technique. In a library bathroom a kneeling woman holds a child by the head, as her face lengthens, unravels and contorts into a mosquito-esque visage; now a makeshift fleshy proboscis feeding off the tears and essence of her victim. Her eyes hollow, here teeth swirling around the newly formed appendage. Het couple are sitting upright on their bed, in a dark bedroom. Their faces are a grotesque merged together squishy tendrily trypophobic mess. The man has a lethal side-comb and the woman short hair. The piece is hand-drawn in a detailed ink style, in black and white.

In total darkness, a street lamp shines a beam of light, illuminating the dust particles, smoke and moths...as well as the figure of a woman in a Fall t-shirt, a tattered skirt and mules. Holding a cigarette, although she doesn't seem to have a mouth. Nor any hair for that matter. Just a pair of glowing white "eyes". Her right arm is waving at me, although not really an arm anymore, but a collection of massive insect-like appendages...attached to a beautiful slab of spectral meat, filled with mouths, eyes and teeth, anatomies not of the usual kind.

Unequivocally one of the most influential works of art to me. I think I figured out 3/4 of what I know drawing-wise, simply due to endlessly gazing into this LP cover (and 'Cause of Death'). Thank you for painting this!

Open for book covers, illustrations, comics and any interesting commissions. Used to do band art too and if I dig your band, I'll gladly do so again.

A portrait of a face now completely transformed. Multiple 'eyes' rest in two dark hollow spaces. The eyes are like pustules with a pinhole revealing miniature white orbs inside. The face is bald, covered in teeth which spiral around the length of it. The nasal cavity is hollow, akin to a skull. The mouth is just a mess of holes and teeth, with two bulbous sacks protruding at the bottom. Two insect like appendages spurt from each side of the head. The ex-person, is wearing a dirty white vest. In the background, a tall dark antenna like structure sits silent against a night sky. Illustration of a being looking up at the nightsky, smiling. She has long hair, Her mouth is covered in bulges and pustules and She has 6 eyes, nestled in deep vertical flesh holes in pairs down Her forehead, looking different directions. The American version is one of the most terrible remakes of all time, easily. And absolutely misses everything that makes the original what it is - to me an entirely different film. So yes, strongly recommend the original!

Agreed on the pacing, as well as the charm, of course. Imperfections shape a lot of what I love. As for the modem noise (or handshake), it's understandable, but also, wow I'm that old huh.

One of the best horror films via Japan, ever made. Just wanted to make absolutely sure everyone knows this. (This is one where you absolutely definitely avoid the US-ified version.) Kiyoshi Kurosawa is untouchable when it comes to this and 'Cure'.
