Given everything I've had to learn recently about the Saudi's acquisition of EA and their attempt to chip into golf sometime back (via the country's Public Investment Fund), I was looking to see if Soundstorm is within the same vein.

And I am concerned, even if it's not directly related to the PIF.

So this phenomenon is getting to me as well and I’m really starting to get see sick with where and what this represents myself as well but I want to fact check you a little bit here mainly because I’ve had to with 2 other people last year. The “Chris Brown” you see on Praise’s credits is this guy.

The last time I remember the Christian adult contemporary scene doing much of anything was when Lauren Daigle had "You Say" in 2018.

And now this country and its chart-watchers are stuck in the bed they've made for themselves, because mainstream music, for the most part, is currently in hospice.

At least I'm happy having added one of these songs in that specific lane this year (or two if you count Goose's "Give It Time", except I think of that song more as one for the movie's lead cast to sing, in order to lift up their main protagonist.)

Speaking of Rita (though by rule, it will not be added 🙁), much like "Wind-Up" a couple months back, "Out of Air" is a therapist's dream PSA song. One they could blast to all of their clients with mental disorders; maybe even show to my own therapist, if I wasn't stubborn to my curation boundaries.

I can't only rely on dozens of weekly updates on niche community spaces / sites, just to have my curation instincts and many smaller artists recognized. I know how shady some of them are.

But given recent developments around the grapevine, I might have to look for more alternatives going into 2026.

I know I have "The Great Social Media Soap Opera" meltdown of our times still ongoing, because we can't have nice things in the 2020s, but social media like here & that platform owned by an even worse tech-snake is the only main way to advertise WCAS Mock Radio every week, on top of other projects.

As long as you don't mind the vocaloid songs and the V-Tuber selection, and can ignore LAG Radio being associated with a college that arrested it's own students and staff during the 2024 Pro-Palestinian protests, as well as the couple times they used A/I-generated images, it's actually pretty nice.
