And then Cancelled and Honey both seem to reference Call It What You Want. It also seems to reference Paper Rings (PR). Honey also has this insinuation of gay because the examples she gives of people using these terms passive aggressively are women…

And then going into Cancelled which I think could very well be her referencing the New Romantics, the others who are cloaked and helping her on this mission, they all have matching scars because they’ve all been through it.

So to have Wi$hli$t end like that and then Wood starts with the melody that sounds like “I’m coming out” and the first lyrics being not only womens names, but being about one of them being bare naked. And then the song is filled with innuendos that could be taken as gay

But I also think it could be about the idea that queer people do want to have that life that everyone else does. They want to be able to have a family and be left alone and have society allow them to just live. WOW isn’t that an amazing thought?

I wouldn’t doubt that each line of this chorus references a celebrity (or multiple) that had their careers threatened if they came out. Once you mentioned this, it made me wonder if the “boss up” line is about…The Boss??

This is, to me, a fairly obvious way to read this excellent song. But I don't think it's what Bruce was thinking of when he wrote it. I'm pretty sure this song is gay by accident.
Bruce Springsteen is a heterosexual man.
Just look at this picture of him heterosexually kissing his fellow
heterosexual Clarence Clemons on the lips during a concert:

But as one watches Springsteen on Broadway, it is easy to see why he has long been if not a queer icon, then at least a straight icon who is disproportionately beloved by many queers.
A quick poke around the Internet reveals as much: the academic texts reading his work as
"homoerotic or queerly suggestive," as Rosalie Zdzienicka Fanshel writes; the
"We're Here and We're Queering Bruce
Springsteen" roundup at one of the longest-running sites for queer women,

Listening to the back half of the album with this in mind really made things look a lot different for me. I think Wi$hli$t could be her singing about what queer celebrities (queer people in general) want. They just want to be around fellow queer people and have the world leave them the fuck alone

Yah she has a book coming out where she personifies all of Taylor’s albums as characters in a psychological thriller, full of Easter clues and blah blah blah… she’s been using her analysis to build a large fan base to sell her book.

Many of you found my little corner of the internet due to my upcoming psychological thriller/murder mystery novel that personifies Taylor Swift's albums as characters. I began this project less than a year ago, and this Friday... I finish it.
Obviously, there will still be a process to getting it published, however due to the extensive support I have received on social media, I am very hopeful and encouraged that this story will be published sooner than later. Plus, all good things take time. I am just honored to have been given the chance.
