Picked up some good food for a great cause today, raising money for Street Team Ministries helping our unsheltered through Richard Martinez. Chef Hall made the eats - delicious fried chicken and pork sandwiches. Barbara and I were glad to help the effort.

Topeka is a city with communities that face various challenges and offer unique opportunities. Tonight, Curtis T-Rock Pitts and citizens of East Topeka held a candidate forum to discuss issues impacting their part of the city. My opponent was a no-show.

Boys and Girls Club, thanks to donations from Cox, opened Teen Innovation Lab. Great addition to services.

Allows for another safe space and appropriate gaming but also is there to teach skills on coding, design, and other tech related skills.
