I think the idea that NYPD is so incompetent that you can literally just shoot a CEO in the middle of the city, not get caught, and the only thing they'll do is profile a random Italian to scapegoat is the only thing that could get police defunded at this point

No, I looked for protests toward Trump, about Gaza, and found none. I'm in the general protest community — I know those are
going on all the time. I notice a lot of stuff b/c I'm trying my best to stay informed. Only
thing I noticed about that was how strangely pointless it was.
