Netflix is only broadcasting two Christmas games this season and that's it. But they are expected to draw vey high viewership. It is the only service deviating from the pattern. Is this like a middle finger to the rest of the NFL broadcasters that we snagged big games. Or is petty on their part?

Usually NFL scores are shown with the total number of wins and losses for the season. Like in the first image. All TV channels and streaming subscriptions services like prime which regularly broadcast games follow the same pattern.

Why does medium.com push for 'open in-app' on a desktop browser? I understand if I am on my phone and they are trying to get me to download the app.

NFL red zone was just weird sans Scott Hanson announcing. Glad he is back.

"Mind. Blown. The 2003-04 Warriors were a team in transition! Just 3-12 on the season, but they still managed a sweet 20 assist game against the Lakers! The Warriors' 3-3-2 offense was clicking on all cylinders, a promising sign for the young squad #DubNation #NBA #WarriorsHistory"

One of my professors once went to an anti-vaccine society meeting and asked with a poker face - what they all think of the side effects of the new Hep C vaccine. They went on and on about it.

No, there is no Hep C vaccine!

Streaming subscriptions are often heavily discounted though. I got a year’s worth of NBA league pass for $50.

I may buy Hulu for a year and/or max for 6 months. And I am wondering if I should buy a lifetime proton pass subscription primarily to support their cause and stand on privacy.

That time of the year when you are excited about a 50 percent discount on stuff that you 100 percent don’t need.

I am tempted to buy remarkable.com although I hardly ever take hand written notes. I have a good use case for reading books for which I already have a kindle.

I will play the same song on repeat for a week but their other top 5 would just not make sense to me at all.

Go to album or Go to artist - No, thank you, music app. Most would love an artist or a band and like most or almost all of their songs. I am weird. I may like a song or rarely two from a band and none of their other ones.

Bottom line - Amazon music (is probably struggling to retain subscribers)
November 29, 2024 at 4:22 AM
I just have a lot of ‘unread’ audible titles which I should get through first. On further probing I see a single device Amazon music plan without the audible option for $6. Which might make better sense for me than the 10$ plan.

So the above subscription makes sense to me so that they don’t keep getting the more than one stream restriction that YouTube is starting to enforce more and more now a days.
November 29, 2024 at 4:20 AM
Which might still be ok for someone like me who would listen to a book, but I doubt if will ever listen to title again in the future.

My wife and kids use my individual YouTube plan a lot either for YT music or ad free YouTube.

Amazon music ($10 plan and up) unlimited plan now includes an audible title a month. This may sound like a steal, but I do not think you own the title forever like you do through a traditional 15$ audible membership.
