hey! can you take a moment to sign this petition urging large pet store chains to STOP carrying jumping spiders? Many owners have experienced sickly, improperly labeled, and/or pregnant spiders when buying from places like Petsmart and Petco, and the spiders themselves suffer.

i don’t even think she should blame herself either i think when things like this happen you just have to acknowledge the mistakes you made , and also realize that animals don’t have an understanding of things like this.

like i don’t think it’s wrong or bad for ppl to have their regular animals around if they’re well trained / behaved and you have every safety guard in place. but mistakes happen and if you don’t want cats anymore then yes, rehome them. it’s just a sad situation for everyone involved

dude i follow a jumper breeder from my area and her posts are so chaotic like. her cats knocked over one of her enclosures and there was an unfortunate tragedy and she’s like in grief so i completely understand but she’s like rehoming her cats now and im like ok. well you let the cats be in there…

also don’t worry im not reading any stress responses from them, they still go their seperate ways and do their own thing . i’ve noticed captive jumpers just watch each other passively lol
