Huh, A new Bride of Frankenstein film by Maggie Gyllenhaal with both her husband and brother in it plus Christian Bale as Frankenstein's monster. And it looks like they are some kind of Bonnie and Clyde in this.

I know #24 isn't even out yet. USM #21 comes out tomorrow and then MU is typically 3 months behind. Definitely check out Ultimates. It follows the same format as USM with each issue being a monthly snapshot while it counts down how long before the Maker returns.

Those Ultimate Spider-Man comics are great. So are Ultimates and Ultimate Black Panther. I think U Spidey is getting restarted after #24. Basically Hickman's leaving. It's the Maker's return. There's an event. He's been locked away for the last 2 years.

Those Ghost Machine comics are good. I'm buying them all monthly from my LCS. Most of the Geoff Johns ones are set in the same universe, except Rook Exodus and I think Hyde Street. The two Peter Tomasi comics are part of Family Odysseys. The art in every book is terrific.

There's a permanent farmers market in Lancaster, PA and one of the vendors is an Amish couple that makes and sells like 40 kinds of jelly. We probably have a dozen flavors here now. I'll see if they ship the next time I go and if not I'll pick up whatever you want and you can just reimburse me.

Thanks for the recommendation for Daughters of Block Island. I quite enjoyed it. I think @michaelmay.bsky.social would really dig it too. A modern day gothic story. BTW, Block Island is a real place.

I think you'd really like Harrow County. It's set in the 20s in a rural area plagued by a witch and her haints but a kid also begins to gain powers to potentially stop her. I go back and forth between it or The Sixth Gun being the best thing Cullen Bunn has written. Tyler Crook's watercolor art!

Just finished the latest After Midnight. I know you're locked into a lot of the comics, but you guys need to check out Locke & Key, Harrow County and The Sixth Gun. Actually you and @paxholley.com should do The Sixth Gun on Hellbent too if you ever do comics.

I've been tempted to get one of those little book nooks for awhile. This one looks perfect. I guarantee lightailing.com builds a light kit for it too so you can actually turn all of those lights on. They'll modernize from gas to LED though.
