Quick (censored) warmup sketch, with some anatomy practice on my firbolg Lumin. I got absolutely defeated by that leg. Why did I decide to paint it in such a difficult shortcut? I dunno, apparently I have no mercy for myself :V

I drew some dragon larvae. Dragons are parasites, from the moment they hatch. Adult dragons lay eggs in bodies of still water, and so, humans from dragon-infested lands avoid calm lakes as wildfire. They don't want to get infected with these (for some reason)

A lot of good things have happened this year
I painted illustrations for 4 different books, made two covers and finally, after so many long months, I have found job a part-time job in gamedev. I feel like this may be a start of something incredible, and I'm super excited

This is Mara, an elf I created for my D&D setting called Gaol. I wrote several elf species, and all are based on bugs. Mara here is a black swallowtail butterfly. I really wanted to design her in such a way, that she resembles a starry night

Ok, I'm done with the body rendering, now it's time for the wings (hidden on a separate layer). The butterfly reference (black swallowtail) has bright orange spots, but the orange here just doesn't sit well with me. I think for the character's sake staying monochromatic may be better :3
