Found the commands needed to start the TCP video feed from insta360 360-cams so now I just need to write it into a smaller c program that I can use to pipe it into ffmpeg and pray it understands the feed. Surely that’s what the devs planned for, right?

Made a quick video to show how one can use the DJI Osmo Action 4 and 5 Pro battery case to effectively «hot swap» the battery. Very nice if you are a IRL streamer using the cam wirelessly. Should work with normal power banks as well! youtu.be/tQeWQFSxZMg

Finally found the missing stuff needed to support the DJI Action 5 Pro and pushed out a patch for Moblin so people could test it out. Initial tests looks very promising.Will also later release the Library I’ve been working on for the DJI cams so I call it a dub for both the Action 5 pro and Action 4

Too many USB cables? Struggling with powering your IRL backpack? Get your cable-resistances checked. Throw away the worst half. Shorter is not always better either!

My goal this December is to get ALL of the devices in this picture easier to use for IRL streaming. Either by making documentation, libraries or apps. I also hope to make streams and vids about them.

Reverse engineering the Osmo Action 5 Pro bit on hold until i can get my hands on a device myself. Seems to be too different to the Action 4 (which i have) that its hard to figure out thanks to logs recieved from other people.

You can send the DJI cameras Bluetooth commands while streaming to change EIS mode. Also seeing patterns for more options so think stuff as wideangle etc may be adjustable on the fly as well. Could make it use stab while in high speed and automatically widen out if walking etc. interesting stuff

I want to start doing IRL streams, but im so limited by not having a car. And now bus-ticket prices are going to increase with 60% apparently.. Kinda konsidering getting a car at this point..

BT on linux seems so complicated. I just want to create a BLE server so that my linux device can function as a peripheral my phone can connect to, but there are no "easy" ways of doing this. Closest ive gotten it to work is a C-program which makes no sense to me. Need to read more about whatsup

I need to figure out the math and how to set up a custom source in home assistant for tracking whenever my power usage surges with like 2000 watt (my water heater turning on) and calculating when it will happens next time.

I have so many small and big projects that i constantly have to remind myself that even tho i haven't achieved any milestones in the last week, i still have massive progress across several projects. One day in the future i will be like.. completing 2-5 projects on the same day!
