Silly and quick(-ish) thing I wanted to draw, roughly based on a CrossWorlds interaction between these two.
Had the urge to draw Storm again (haven't in some time) but didn't really have the energy or motivation to commit to something more detailed or larger or what have you.

Storm the Albatross and Big the Cat (both from the Sonic franchise), each clad in each other's outfit - Storm with Big's belt, gloves and jandals, and Big with Storm's goggles, necklace, gloves and shoes. Storm seems a little unsure, the belt looking a bit oversized on him as he works on adjusting it, while Big just seems pleased with the arrangement, tweaking the placement of the necklace. ARTIST'S NOTE: In the original drawing of these two that I've pulled my colours from for the last few years now, I SOMEHOW forgot to draw Storm's necklace. Lacking a convenient colour reference for it on that image as a result, I bullshitted the metal colours and pulled the cord's from his CrossTalk mod art for this pic. (Both of them are generally more accurately-proportioned here than in that original art as well - early 2020s me had a bad case of Tiny Head Syndrome in my artwork, jesus christ)

A sprite lineup, showcasing the currently existing stand sprites for Flare, Ryder, and Tidal (using the last time I sprited her in the SRB2 style as she does not have a mod), alongside revised and redone versions of them, closer to how they're depicted in recent artwork (especially Ryder) and with my newer spriting skills and mentalities. Flare and Ryder's original sprites are labeled with "2021" and Tidal's with "2023", while the new versions are labeled with "2026". Alongside them all is the standard, unaltered standing Sonic sprite from the game, for reference purposes.

A sleeping Flare the Tyrannosaur. A small group of Little Rexes from Sonic Unleashed have joined him, bundling around (and atop) Flare. Inscribed in the dirt nearby is a stylised emblem - the number 8 with Flare's spikes, altogether reading "8TH ANNIVERSARY".
