Awesome! You're welcome, keep it up 🤍

Apart from that, it is a characterful movement, executed very well. 🤍
spiritbridgestudio.bsky.social
This is really nice. We would make the pupils less busy. They distract from the main movement. And watch the proportions on the arms. They appear thicker when the body is facing forward and when she has her back to us the arm that is further away looks thicker than the near side one.

The white on the neck and hands are a bit confusing. If it is colouration then we would try it as an identifiable pattern. The perspective on the beak is excellent.

People often hate drawing hands, but if you are attempting to draw a tricky one like the one in the picture we're sure you will do a good job.
spiritbridgestudio.bsky.social
If you haven't already, we would start with an underlying drawing. This will allow you to be more defined in the edges. A wing turned into a hand is always a challenge, so we would start with hand studies.

What a day! ❤️💜

Our team visited Birmingham Children’s Hospital with Bucky the Unicorn Bear & Bertie Bear to present our Dragon Boat Race cheque.

Thrilled to announce we’ve now raised £13,300! Absolutely amazing! 🤍

You're very welcome! You keep cooking 🤍🙏

Again, we may be preaching to the converted, but spray a fixer on the image at the end to protect it. If you don't have a fancy one, hair spray works too.

If you haven't already, a good technique to employ to avoid accidental smudging is to rest your hand when drawing (when you need to for accuracy) on another clean sheet of paper on top of the one you are working on.
spiritbridgestudio.bsky.social
It looks like you're getting a good handle on your materials. Yes, those softer materials can be a nuisance.
spiritbridgestudio.bsky.social
Try to avoid smudging with your finger. Some artists do this but it doesn't lend itself to accurate toning. Try practicing feathering with your pencil, applying different weight. If you haven't already, try different tones of pencil. Perhaps HB and 4B.

You have made the left side of the face (viewers left) larger than the right. An easy way of checking symmetry is to look at your picture in a mirror/hold it up to the light and look from behind. We get so used to looking at a page that we don't see things that are obvious when the image is reversed

You're very welcome! You keep up the amazing work 🤍🙏

Also, the waistband looks almost like a straight line. It needs to curve around the waist. Otherwise, a cool little character this is! 👏🤍
spiritbridgestudio.bsky.social
We'd suggest a couple of small amendments. We think someone has already mentioned the buns. The middle of the trousers are facing the viewer, but the character is in a three quarter pose. We would change the middle of the legs to reflect this.
spiritbridgestudio.bsky.social
That's an awesome work! You keep it up, can't wait to see what you'll be cooking 🤍
spiritbridgestudio.bsky.social
You are clearly thinking about highlights and shadows as well. It might be a bit too soon, but have you considered texturing the colour? Placing a texture behind can really add something. Not always necessary or suitable though. Nice work so far!
spiritbridgestudio.bsky.social
Really good selection! You'll find that a lot of artists, when developing a character, will go through a range of iterations. This is a great starting point though.
