Last night I wired up the electrics in the tender and crossed my fingers as I turned her on.
Always love when my installs go right the first time.

Its a bit hard to find as the entrance is on the north side of the building in the parking lot.
From the east side, south of tracks, from the west side, north of Subway.

Both sides I messed up the second '3' while applying microsol. And there were only 4 of them on the sheet, so another decal sheet was ordered.
Hopefully the second time around goes a bit better.

Last night I fit the decoder, keepalive, speaker, and harness in the tender.
The engine is next, needing the headlight, pickups, and motor rewired to the harness. Then I can begin adding weight.

Engine pickups will be the only pickups on the model so hopefully thatll be enough.
And I added the tender hatch so the tender is ready for paint.

Latest changes, I added the handrails, domes, and a rear light on the tender. After realizing I forgot it, I scratched up a whistle for the center dome.
After painting, I can worry about cab detailing.

Did a bit more work on the switcher. Added the airpump and some steps as well as fixing the feedwater piping.
Still needs handrails, domes, and a rear headlight.

I was dreading doing the injector piping but it seems to have come out pretty well.
Next is some extra steps and the airpump. Then the domes can be fixed in place and sandpipes corrected.

A fun detail to tell equipment is from the turn of the century is the lack of side ladders, which were later safety appliance act additions.

One of which is this little brass railtruck for $20. The old motor was DOA and took up the entire back of the van, so remotoring and DCC is the plan.
