I've been quiet here bc I'm doing exciting things like moving furniture and repainting walls instead of cosplay, but also bc most of my remaining work is just rehearsing! I have a short list of finishing touches and repairs on Vivi but all the big projects, including stage props, are basically done

Good selection of zippers and thread is the biggest thing I find smaller local stores lack. Not fancy thread or anything, just gutterman mara in a nice variety of colors. Weirdly easy to find silk thread, hard to find basics

So, just ignore the fact that I’m using my Frieren staff right now 😹 Elk is almost good to go! Still need to tweak a few things (hem the pants, finish the wig, shorten the hat a bit, etc), but he’s definitely coming with me to MAG! 🙌
