I've spent more time mixing this song than I did playing/singing/recording/editing/fixing the damn thing.

Of course the first album I listen to is an acoustic one! 😆
This is very good; stylistically I'd say it's a kind of gothic Folk. Lyrics would work in Black or DoomMetal as well. Very mellow and relaxed atmosphere.

Thanks for the kind words. The industiral and alt-metal tags are from my previous album from 2 years ago, but I can't figure out how to change that.

Gothic folk -- I like that. Probably from my Opeth and Chelsea Wolfe listening over the years.

In two weeks, Spoon Hammer's 'Than To Curse the Darkness' will be released.

A collection of 11 'acoustic' based songs, which is the polar opposite of the the first Spoon Hammer album from 2023 which was mostly industrial/metal/noise.

An all black picture with a faint glow of light from behind an object, matching the theme of the album title.

Well, I think I'm about ready to put a wrap on the 'acoustic' EP that I've been working on since September. 11 songs completed, so it's no longer an EP 🤣.

Just need to add bass to one track and then I can look at releasing it soon.
