The Red Sox’s refusal to move on from Jordan Hicks in a timely manner reeks of front office arrogance. We get it — Craig Breslow doesn’t want to admit to trading Raffy for a subpar return. Craig Breslow is Craig Breslow's greatest enemy. Plain and simple. The fake optimism post the Rafael Devers trade, building up to deadline day, was — yet again — all for nothing. Boston, as a whole, should be eagerly awaiting Brelow's next chit-chat with the media.
