Rewatching my old demo reel from when I was in animation school is wild.
I think I’m always going to
love what I made. However, it is a little telling to me that I think my 2D animation has improved since changing majors. Actual constructive criticism and more time to work does wonders I guess lol

Trying to stay optimistic and hopeful this season has felt like an uphill battle. It feels like there’s too many crises happening around the world all at once for people to deal with sufficiently. That hopelessness has bled into most of my conversations. Still, we must try to hold onto hope

*sigh* I wish art burnout didn’t hit me so hard so frequently. Sometimes I just look at what I make and feel like I don’t measure up when it comes to my peers (or even those younger than me) or I can’t seem to work fast enough to get my best stuff out, the woes of being a former art school student
