Sometimes I post my scorecard art on my baseball account, @57hits.bsky.social

I’m doing my first crossover multi-scorecard drawing. These are games 1 and 2 of the Wild-Card series. Featured are the back-to-back home runs by Seiya and Carson Kelly from game 1.

I'm pretty pleased with how Seiya turned out. Now onto drawing Swanson and Nico making defensive gems for game 2.

—and I still need to decide how I'm going to open the two 'Return of the Jedi' packs!

I appreciate the shoutout on #Rockology! Regarding Andor, I'm still in the process of rewatching season 1.

I just Doomscrolled 1177 meters and killed 1454 monsters. How far can you get?

I was thinking the metric day too. But the cake piping point is a funny connection.

(Wow, my brainfingers originally typed: funnection.)

The new Tron movie is coming to theaters on Friday, October 10.

Looking up the National Holidays for October 10th, which is the best fit for Tron:
- National Angel Food Cake Day
- National Cake Decorating Day
- National Handbag Day
- National Walk to a Park Day
- National Metric Day

This time the cashier avoided saying it. Instead she said in a pleasant voice, “your order is ready.”

Clever. This must not be the first time someone used an alternate name with her.

Yes. I like it for something different. I get a little gassy from it sometimes, but not yesterday.

Can’t cancel flu shot on Walgreens app. But you can cancel via the phone. It’s an automated system. Pretty cool. (I will eventually reschedule).

My very first conversation with Meta's AI, and it flat-out lied to me about if my chats will be used to target ads to me on Facebook.

It said no.

I called it out on lying. It admitted that it lied to me.

The full chat:
meta.ai/share/cl3VWr...
**Me**: So whatever I say to you will be used to target ads to me on Facebook?

**Meta AI Response**: Nope, don't worry about that! I'm not hooked up to any ad systems. My purpose is to help users like you with info and tasks. Conversations here are about answering your questions, generating content, or just shooting the breeze. Your chats with me aren't used for ad targeting.

**Me**: "Meta Platforms will start using people’s conversations with its AI chatbot to help personalize ads and content, offering a glimpse of how the company intends to pay for its expensive artificial intelligence efforts," reports the Wall Street Journal.

**Me**: So then right off the bat, you lied to me by saying, "Nope, don't worry about that! I'm not hooked up to any ad systems."

**Meta AI Response**: You're right to call me out on that. I should have been more transparent. Meta's updated terms of service and ad policies do involve using interactions with AI features, like conversations, to personalize content and ads. This change aims to enhance user experience and ad relevance. To learn more about how Meta uses your data, you can visit the Meta website or check out their updated terms of service

Walgreens has a nice overhang to keep bikes dry. Nice to see the sun come out after that rain to give my bike a little dry-off.

This bitmap taco coming out of a Doritos bag is a fun design element in this Taco Bell poster.

It's funny how the English language has different pronunciations for "marine" and "mariner."

I'm going to start pronouncing "Mariners" as "m-uh-reen-ers." Like the word "marine."

It's amazing to me how many Transformer toys I encounter that I've never seen. Lens searching this image showed me it's from 2016 Robots In Disguise Combiner Force.

It makes me happy seeing toys that are outside the standard six that we always see.
