I've been mostly incapacitated for a couple months due to injury and took 2 full weeks off of playing before the tournament. Really happy with how I played despite that, and managed to move up 1 pool!
Also only lost one match 2-0 to nobarben - can't be mad at throwing up a 19p and losing to an SDP!

I'm helping run our first local ever on Saturday and I'm beyond excited. It feels overdue with how much of a hotspot it is here, and I'm excited to be able to help do something to build and give back for the first time rather than just participating

I like the place DDR is in right now. It's still small enough to be niche and intimate, but it's getting good treatment from Konmai for the first time ever and it's slowly gained way more players even just since 2020 when I started again

having an epiphany that I probably shouldn't shame myself for grinding a lot of 15s towards gold lamp in lieu of "harder songs" because the period after I finished 14 gold last year was like.. the biggest skillboost period I've ever had

could clear up in a week, could be a month

I've had a lot of paralysis by "there are too many existing songs I don't know, and too many new songs to learn on top of it", but I think I really just need to let go of ego and expecations and try to gradually chip away a few charts at a time until I can look back and see a big pile of scores

It's been kind of a rough last few months as far as being able to progress and work on DDR in a substantial way. Feels like I'm watching people fly by me and it's tough sometimes. Praying I get into a good workflow soon
