Nuno is a thoroughly decent bloke, but he has one hell of a job to do. If he gets them out of this mess, he’s a miracle worker. They are awful.
ITV news reporting on the Maccabi TA fans ban from Villa Park, just said that “whoever is in Villa Park for the game on Nov 6th, it will certainly be attended by political controversy.”. My question is, who is selling tickets to political controversy?
It doesn’t make any difference as every single player has him in their FPL team.

Sorry, I missed out ‘do’ as the 2nd word in my question to you. Without it, it sounds like I’m accusing you! 😳
So you think that the age/experience of Tel & Odobert is a contributing factor. I like them both and think they have very high ceilings, but would their finishing be better (calmer?) with more experience? Son was our best finisher, and now he’s gone so have lost that calmness with chances.

I would laugh if this wasn't so true 😭
Brentford also had Christian Norgaard, who was excellent defensively and a better progressive passer from CDM than anyone that we have at the moment. Stiller, Locatelli & Wharton are all better than him. Palhinha is a stopgap. Hopefully we will address this area in January or the summer.
But this manager has had 11 games. This time last season, the manager had had around 50 games to get his message and way of playing across to the squad. The football will be ‘different’ with each change of manager. If Frank had had 50 games, the football may (or may not) be better.
I agree, but we haven’t really got a progressive passer either from defence or on the midfield pivot. Romero and Porro (to a lesser extent) can do it, but Cuti was out yesterday. We desperately need someone like Angelo Stiller, Manuel Locatelli or Adam Wharton.
The VAR team in Stockley Park have the Countdown clock positioned above them, with the music playing. If they don’t get a correct decision within the 30 seconds, they are subjected to a mild electric shock via their chairs. The severity of the shock increases for each ‘late’ and wrong decision.
I was there. A fantastic performance. Miller & McAllister were immense at CB and Terry Yorath, against his old team, was superb. Only downer was the Leeds fans throwing rocks and smashing the windows on our bus post game.

Shot maps show we did enough right to comfortably win that game. Those are terrific chances we generated there. Far, far better than Villa's weak scattering. But we lacked the quality/luck to put them away. We got varianced. #COYS
I’m not happy with the the result yesterday at all. But we have to have patience and give Frank time to get the players that he needs.
We also had 8 players unavailable due to injury yesterday, 5 of whom are likely starters: Cuti, Udogie, Deki, Madders & Dom. Injuries were used to defend the poor results the past, but seemingly not now. Also, the 2 games we’ve lost are by a single goal, again this was pointed out last season.
2 shots on target, 2 goals. 😩
Has Richy touched the ball in their half yet?
5 & 4 now
Palhinha doing a superb job. 4 blocks & tackles so far that have led to us gaining possession, 3 of which resulted in us driving forward.

Agree with the first two, although I think Greavsie should get serious consideration. It would be between Ledley, Kane & Son for me for the PL one. I’d probably go for Sonny. Of course, we must keep space for a Levy one at some point in the future. 😉
Strange how she knows that “British food is best” when she hasn’t tasted anything else. And, of course, we all know that she follows her values in checking every piece of clothing she wears is British and every piece of equipment in her house is also British.
Thanks for posting, Milo. A really interesting interview. It sounds like the recruitment side of things is now looking much more joined-up compare to the recent past.
