#Breakfast: Day 1984

I spent time avoiding the news & made #Crêpes with #Apples & Sour Cream.
I went for rolled crêpes because I’ve never sprung for a #Crepes pan. I use my rectangular #tamagoyaki pan. They roll very nicely that way.
It was a sweet start to the day. Let’s hope it stays that way!

Hot day.
Cold #breakfast.

This is #Çilber a popular breakfast in #Turkey.

#Poachedeggs, on top #yogurt with lots of #garlic, warm olive oil & pepper flakes. I used Aleppo.

Plus a #Mint, Tomato, Cucumber salad, Olives, & Sesame Toast.

When my family was visiting about a month ago, we went to a venerable #Mexican restaurant that’s been in LA since 1923 – El Cholo.

I went for the Steak #Fajitas & when I had about 4 or 5 more bites left on my plate, I was pretty full. Just a few bites, but I asked for a box.🧵
