Final Fantasy was a game I really wanted to play, but stuff happened, and now I’m just happy to finally get to paint a character commission! Interpreting the game graphics was a bit of a challenge tho! XD and this is a sword wielding Blue Mage :) #FFXI #FFXIV

This is an interesting point. I feel like my works are a mess and I’m stylistically nowhere where I’d want to be so it changes all the time. But I also can tell that I’ve painted them all. It’s probably that the author sees the differences but others see the similarities?

Okay, I really don’t like cooking. Today I made tomato soup (too many tomatoes) and it was damn tasty but took soo much time. I could honestly just eat kibbles if that was a nutritionally decent option

A background is a background for the character, it’s not really a background while there is no character and how you paint it should be directed by the character. What I’m trying to say is - you should do both at the same time :D thumbnails really are great for figuring out the main things!
