I had my interview for a fellowship at the train station. The train was supposed to depart, but it was delayed, so I was telling a very serious Polish-German committee about Ukrainian resilience while boarding the carriage, and the conductor was scanning my ticket from my phone at the same time.

I asked AI what kind of plastic surgery I should get so my face would not look so sad.
It said I should smile more and stop being sad.

Tomorrow, my text will be performed for the first time on the stage of a national theatre in Stockholm. It is a story about Ukrainian combat medics.

In the news they write that Mark Rutte saw in Patron the dog’s eyes that we will not surrender.

I’m ready to offer my cat for state purposes. In her eyes it says: “Give us more air defense!!!”

Ukrainians have almost made it through the winter, and this gives people a sense of optimism.

10 Ukrainian soldiers “defeated” two NATO battalions in a single day during exercises.

How will European leaders react to this news?

Just now, a homeless man was sitting next to me in a Kyiv metro carriage, learning German words from a squared notebook. The words were written in a neat column, in beautiful handwriting, underlined with colored pens.
What have you done today for your self-development?

Two one-year-old boys and a two-year-old girl were killed overnight in an enemy strike on the town of Bohodukhiv.

A 34-year-old man who was with the children in the private house also died from his injuries.

February 20 - Les Kurbas Theatre.

I made it to the 2nd round of selection for an international program. The interview was supposed to start two minutes before my train, but it was delayed, so I had to answer and show ticket to the conductor at the same time.
I’m not sure whether this affected my explanation of Ukrainian resilience.

russians shell Kramatorsk every day, a small city in eastern Ukraine.

People still live there: families with children, elderly residents, those who had nowhere else to go.

For the first time, russia struck the largest electrical substation in Europe, the Western Ukrainian 750 kV hub.
It connects the Khmelnytskyi and Rivne nuclear plants and supplies the entire western region, including electricity imports from abroad.

russia continued its attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure today, deliberately destroying the conditions for normal life.
The goal is simple: to freeze civilians in their own homes.

Are the missiles over?
People around me in the shelter are starting to head home.
February 7, 2026 at 5:32 AM
Russia is striking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure again. Missiles have already been launched from ships, and more than a hundred Shahed drones are over the country right now.
As of now, six strategic bombers are preparing to launch missiles

Russia launched a massive overnight attack across Ukraine.
And only Kyiv had no air raid alert.

Did Trump secretly send us a golden dome or what?

“russia used the proposed short-term pause not for diplomacy, but to stockpile missiles and wait for the coldest days, when temperatures drop to −20°C and below,” — President Zelenskyy.

Heating is critical in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro.

“I called putin. He agreed. No rockets on Kyiv or other cities for a week.” — Trump.

Reality: last night russia launched a record number of ballistic missiles.
Right now, they are firing their most dangerous and least accurate missiles near Kyiv.

russia struck Ukraine’s energy infrastructure again today to freeze civilians to death.
February 3, 2026 at 9:05 AM
Soldiers, rescuers, energy workers, repair crews, they are holding Ukraine together during russian terror.
At −25°C they do the impossible.
In icy water and snow.
When hands freeze to metal.

Right now, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and my city Kyiv are under russian ballistic strikes. This doesn’t sound like a ceasefire. But maybe I’m wrong I’ve never seen one. Wouldn’t know what it’s supposed to sound like.

My colleagues in Kyiv spend nights of shelling sleeping in the office with their children, it’s in a basement.
It’s warmer than their apartments and there’s a kitchen, a washer and dryer. There’s even a shower, though in winter it’s too cold to use.
February 2, 2026 at 11:18 PM
Today, 40% of russian drones were intercepted at the border.
Ukraine is moving toward a high-tech wall against a country of evil.

I sincerely feel for European countries, they don’t have armed forces like ours.
February 2, 2026 at 10:59 PM
Air raid sirens in Kyiv. Drones over the city, explosions reported. Strategic bombers have taken off.

At the same time, the OSCE Secretary General and Switzerland’s Foreign Minister are in Kyiv.

russia doesn’t care.
