February is I Love to Read month, and for SRTA president @jonwaite.bsky.social, it’s his favourite time of the year. He has a big selection of books to read to students, and each school he reads at will receive books for their libraries. Can you tell he’s a big fan of hockey? 🥅 🏒 🇨🇦

On Sunday, SRTA members, along with family and friends, took in the @winnipegjets.com game. It was a great afternoon, not only for the hockey but it was also the Hockey Fights Cancer game. We felt inspired by cancer survivors and fortunate to be part of the day.

Today is Indigenous Veterans Day, a day that holds deep importance across Canada. While Remembrance Day honours all who served, Indigenous Veterans Day specifically acknowledges the unique experiences and sacrifices of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis soldiers who fought bravely in global conflicts.

For too long, Section 107 of the Canada Labour Code has silenced workers and unions, stripping them of their most effective means to fight for fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect on the job. MTS stands in solidarity with the CLC and calls for an end to this practice. buff.ly/8XZKixh
