to sum it up im basically asking if anyone else didnt actually get a refund request. because i feel stupid and paranoid bc i cant find anything
a little update onmy side of the jv/vkjc heated rivalry au commission scammer (in case this helps anyone)
im ngl i just checked my paypal for the first time since hearing about this (procrastination final boss) and i never got a refund request, even tho the person told me i (1)

for other artists out there, i would suggest doing your own research on the pros/cons of pp business accs vs personal ones. but once again take my warnings with a grain of salt..
not trying to excuse the culprit either, but its also possible that the refund requests were (4)

in the past, i have recieved scam-looking commission requests/people asking me for commissions specifically through a paypal business account. again, i am clueless when it comes to this stuff, but id say not having a paypal business account has saved my ass many many times now(3)

would have. i suspect this is because i dont actually have a business paypal, i use my personal one. however i am also incredibly offline recently so its also possible that someone got the scammer to retract the refund requests from the artists, i would have no idea. (2)
