Palestinian-American. Cat person. Mathematics professor. Leftist. Autistic but often told it’s not obvious. Nerd but not the consumerist kind. Arrogant but can back it up.

Mathematic for the people.

I just got a lot of new mathematician followers, so in my attempt to pander, here’s my area of interest. For the past year, I’ve been translating, solving, and writing detailed solutions for Japanese college entrance exam problems. I even code randomly-generating variants for student practice.
Yeah, I have an LLM: Large LigMa.

Even in context, Batman just cockblocks Man-Bat with no provocation. Starting to think a billionaire who beats the shit out of neurodivergent petty criminals isn’t the good guy.

Mara is “moaning” because her leg is in the same position as Batman’s, but she’s a lot happier.

“Try That in a Small Town” is amusing AF if you actually live in a small town. Even Seattleites are more likely to piss on you when you’re on fire than rural good ol’ boys who think Jesus could’ve solved everything by being born rich.

I don’t know how to write laws to stop this private equity shit, and I know they have no chance of passing soon. But holy fuck, even the vultures have to know this shit isn’t sustainable.

Nobody told me I’d regularly think, “Wow, that dude’s old,” and his rugose ass was born nine months after me.

Not super interested to get back into Stranger Things. Killing off the coolest character in the third episode of the entire series was… a move.

In this issue, Batgirl is investigating a poacher of bulls in Madrid. So Babs Gordon thinks everyone will see a svelte redhead with an American accent visit Spain at the same time as Batgirl and just be done a bamboozle?

It’s absolutely wild that billionaires try so hard to cultivate this social Darwinist manosphere mentality. The entire economy grows out of their fear. Fear of living like we live. Everything is getting price-gouged, enshittified, and private-equity’ed because of billionaire fear.

Why the fuck do they even want Greenland? I don’t think they know about Camp Century: a decommissioned nuclear facility that might eventually release into the ocean millions of gallons of nuclear waste, diesel, and human shit. Nobody is preventing this. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Ce...

It’s weird having clear memories of the 90s and watching folks younger than me reflect, having filtered out the more silly or cheesy media. Like this song “In the House of Stone and Light”: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIa9...

Is there a meme for when you get a notification and you’re like, “Aw, someone thought of me for once,” so you scroll and scroll but it turns out some yo-yo just typed @𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢𝚘𝚗𝚎?

I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know enough to have a solid opinion, but I find it… interesting… that Democrats still play by the old rules of resigning in shame for being in the same state as childcare fraud. Republicans do that shit as part of pledging.

How does nobody ever connect that Bruce Wayne is the superhero he continually name-drops?

Batman solemnly vowed never to use a gun… except to shoot exploding dolphins in international waters.

Batman is not your friend. Here he is impressed by a shipping billionaire. Who forced his employees to get subcutaneous implants. In the wrong spot.

One of my pet peeves is that I can’t remember ever seeing “Ra’s al-Ghūl” pronounced correctly on screen. It’s not RAY SHALL GHOUL. I know very little Arabic myself, so here…

Had it up to here with Democrats fantasizing about blue waves. Maybe in 2026, rank-and-file Democrats will finally figure it out. No scenario exists in which today’s G.O.P. will hold fair elections, take an electoral L with grace, and peacefully transfer power.
