Yesterday I was dizzy, holding myself up, it hurt to breathe, pains, and constant acid. I felt quite literally like I was dying (shortness of breath brings me back to my blood cancer anemia days). It’s really, really good to come back from it. Now I feel regular shitty instead of dying shitty.

So my GI doctor reduced my dosage of ppi down 1/4 and most of my agony went away. I thought I’d pass out every time I stood up. Things are much better.

Trying all sorts of tricks to stop the acid reflux burp pain. Obviously I’m using a ppi (Prilosec) and tums. Tried the slippery elm tea and now gas x. They aren’t real burps. It’s just the only way I can explain it. They’re just acid bubbles that burn my throat and nose. Makes me grumpy.

I’ve lost 11 lbs on zepbound, but during this time I’ve had acute gastritis and colitis. Some days I couldn’t eat. So it doesn’t count really and much of it could come back. :/

Sick to my stomach, not acid but another illness. The nausea is the worst. If my husband wasn’t around working from home I’d still be on the floor. I don’t get it, I only had a 1/4 slice of bread and my body is rebelling. I’m not asking for pity, I’m just venting
