Which means I've been watching you for just about 10 years. I got into Magic at the very beginning of 2016 and you were one of the first people I started watching on YouTube to help me learn the game and engage with it beyond the LGS I went to.

An apology alone isn't an effort to change. Plenty of apologies are insincere or just covering one's ass.

An apology doesn't have to be accepted to lead to changes, either. Some people just aren't willing to accept apologies without proof of change, and some won't accept them at all. It happens.

Fuckin' sold.

I love my Switch Pro Controller but it can't power on the Switch 2, and I've heard the Switch 2 Pro Controller is lackluster.

Yeah. Still trying to decide if I'm going to get the Switch 1 version and just deal with the quality difference or just get the digital download of the game and skip the pointless dust collector.

It won't, the art gets squished on Switch 2 boxes if I recall. It's just a key card anyway.

If we come out of this regime in any sort of good shape it won't be any thanks to politicians or the media. It'll be entirely on the people of this country and the sheer incompetence of the kakistocracy.

I wish I felt the same. After ~40 hours in Lumiose in Z-A I was so unbelievably sick of the same scenery and music. I was hoping that there'd be some sort of variance in Wild Zone biomes or something at least but it only seemed like they did that for 20 and whatever the ice-themed one was.

The combat was the one thing I think the game really did right. Pretty much everything else about the game frustrated me because it could have been thought through so much better-- and it's not necessarily a budget thing so much as a game design thing.

Like I kinda get what they were going for, but at the same thing I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about it because it feels like every faction in this game had some degree of bad faith to them and the core problem never really gets solved unless that's an endgame thing (but why would it be?)

Rolled the credits of Pokemon Legends Z-A last night and I'm just kind of baffled at this game, but I'm kinda glad to be almost done with it because its general premise was running real stale by the end. So much wasted potential tbh, the ending just had me going "yeah I guess".

Ideally I'd buy the Switch 1 version and get the Switch 2 upgrade, but that's not a thing in this situation and doesn't seem like there will be one.

Don't really have any intention to sell games I buy in physical media these days. I'm pretty specific about games I want to hold on to and ones I'm more indifferent toward (where I'll usually just buy digital). Key cards don't work toward preservation and are just unnecessary dust collectors imo.
