every time i get paid for a new comm, all our utility providers suddenly remember that its time to remind me about monthly bills. all at once and taxes on top. as fucking soon as that paycheck hits my bank acct. for fucks sake. can i at least pay for my psychiatrist and meds first.

I'm not saying I hate doing comms full time. I enjoy the hell out of it. I just wish it was a stable source of income. But every time something economic or political happens in the world, especially in the US (and I'm in the EU), the number of clients drops sharply, and I can hardly make ends meet.
as the only bread-winner in the family (at the moment) and a full time comm artist with 0 other income sources or financial help:
i'd kill for some part time opportunity right now. this is exhausting. unreliable.

The problem really is things are going well, but the world is so unstable that I long for some consistency and income that I don't have to pay quarterly taxes on
