Well, something is going on here. But can I just say that Wilbur (black steer) came to us as a baby with such a bad knee injury that we weren’t sure if he would walk properly. Now, 2 years later, he tears around the field like a pro athlete.

Dwayne is a very shy sheep who came with 8 other Sheep seized by Animal Control and was always the most skittish. He loves the cows and has also learned that certain humans carry cookies. This is a very, very dear Sheep and Ihe now knows that he is loved.

Here’s the rare Tuxedo Maryland Panther hovering over its prey. Ordinarily totally invisible, this animal allowed us a brief glimpse at dusk. What an experience!

Waldo gets eye boogers. A lot of potbellied pigs have this problem. Our volunteers are trained how to safely clean his eyelids (hint: the process needs to start with a belly rub and a lot of compliments).
