Woke up from a dream of a transition between two scenes in a 9-1-1 episode that made my heart explode. Here’s my stick figure recreation of it

Have we considered the possibility that Eddie is trying to make Buck jealous on purpose bc Eddie Knows but is a terrible flirt and this is him making a move??
Eddie giving Buck hugging Pepa that weird loaded look from 8x17 Don’t Drink the Water when he brought Chris and Pepa back to make Buck happy again which was debatably an “Oh Moment”™️ for him?? 4 panels from 9x01 - left 2 panels are Eddie and Hen laughing and eating cantalope at the firehouse rededication ceremony. Right 2 panels are a very unsettled/Jealous Buck and Ravi who is trying to dissociate into a different plane of existence. Behind the scenes picture from 9x01 of presumably Eddie, in his tank top from Texas, sitting on The Couch, and Chim in a chair next to him hanging out at Eddie’s house drinking an IPA, a scene that traditionally would have been a Buddie scene. Eddie looking at Buck like a lovestruck fool sitting in the back of the fire truck. Buck is turned towards and speaking to Hen offscreen.

Like I don’t think ABC cancels this show for any reason other than a major buyout/restructuring/merger situation or the F/CC chairman doing something insane, or Tim, Ryan M, or Angela being done

Also, I don’t think ostark knows anything about when the show ends. I think it’s more likely an actor’s mindset about the unpredictability of a tv show’s longevity. Especially since they’ve already been cancelled before.

Listen, I got Destiel 12 years and at least 6 seasons after I’d pretty much given up hope so it’s not over til it’s over, but the one-two punch of rg specifically saying a “woman” li and ostark saying “if we come back for one more maybe” is… not doing great things for me. 😒🙄😔
