I'd really like to give streaming on Twitch a good shot (I tried it briefly a year or so ago?) but I think I'm psyching myself out about it 🫠

I'm hung up on the concept of "talking to nobody"... like what do streamers DO? Talk to themselves?? 😭

Agreed! I don't work at my computer when I draw so I'd have to figure out how to rig all of that (I use an iPad). I'd MUCH prefer to be interacting with an audience tho than silently drawing!

I got prescribed a sedative to help with my chronic insomnia and it's kind of hilarious slowly feeling yourself become stupid after taking it

So for whatever reason since my hysterectomy I cry really easily (there's a good chance my birth control was stunting my ability to emote too)

This is really relatable. It's easy to sit here and stew in inaction, and maybe it's needed to an extent. I also have a standard 9-5 and I'm fucking TIRED. But that itch to create and interact just won't die 🔥

cancelling Disney+ and Hulu is well and good but it’s not a huge hit on an individual level

Heard from a friend at Disney+ that there are multiple levels of freakout internally, both from internal dissatisfaction, concerns about subscription cancelations, and of course the big one: concern about a boycott spilling over into parks and cruises.

Nope! "The guy" himself said he felt empathy was a "made-up, new-age term" that he didn't believe in.
