Urgent Help Needed

I have to get the rest of My rent before the 15th or else I will face eviction — I still need $650 CAD ($472 USD). If I’m evicted I won’t survive.

I have to come up with the rest of My rent by the 15th or else I face eviction and I will not survive. I’m getting closer and closer to getting on disability and finally being stable and I’m working so hard to get there while also trying to make enough to keep Myself alive until I do. I work from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep. If I’m not working I’m doing appointments and things I need to do in order to move forward with My application for disability.

Unfortunately it’s a long process that takes up time, energy, and even money. I still have to get the money together for transferring My medical records, not to mention money for the doctor to even review them and for the medications I need to function. But once I get that together I might finally be able to have a life, feel safe, get the medical care I need, an even finally go back to school so I can work on building a career and giving back to the community like I’ve always wanted.

If I lose the home I’m in now I lose access to the only family doctor I’ve been able to get in 20 years who, for the most part, actually listens and wants to help Me. And it would create complications for getting on disability and make it harder.

I’m not looking for people to remind Me that evictions take time, the point is that housing is incredibly hard to come across and even if I end up with a few months to figure out where to go I can tell you from experience I won’t be able to find anywhere, an if I do it it would be somewhere that would set Me back considerably and make doing My job impossible.

I lucked out getting this apartment as quickly as I did. The one I had before this I wasn’t able to really work out of and was abused by a roommate, and the one before that was a slumlord that took advantage of My desperation because I had been trying to find a home for YEARS. Not months, YEARS of being rejected by every landlord and having to stay with friends, at airbnbs, and at motels.

I’ve been homeless off and on my entire life, even when I was working full time at a decent, vanilla job. My health is the worst it has ever been and continues to decline, which is not only terrifying but also stops Me from being able to earn the money I need to survive. And with My health the way it is there is no way I could survive the stress of bouncing around Air BnBs and couch surfing again.

I'm sitting here seriously thinking about streaming tomorrow after work. But that's easy to want now and harder to do tomorrow when I'm worn out. We'll see, I guess! Saturday and Sunday are on for sure though.
