Since this Star Wars Hunters thread is going to be very long, I'm going to make a shorter thread with quoted posts where you can jump in where you want if there's a specific character you want to read about.

And that’s the last of Imara Vex’s costumes and weapons!

She has the second most costume options (45) after Rieve (48), and is tied with Sentinel for the second most weapon wraps (43) after Rieve (48).

This set is identified with the fun name “Punk Longshot” in the game files.

The Shani species, much like snakes here on earth, can open their mouths extremely wide to devour their prey - including other sentient species, something Deva Lompop has done on more than one occasion.

The weapon description reads:

“I’m not afraid of anything. But the rumor that Deva Lompop consumed an entire stormtrooper whole does give me… pause.” -Sentinel

The weapon wrap that goes along with this costume, Shani Rifle, has a barrel that resembles the blaster pistol wielded by Deva, along with multi-colored wrappings linking back to her hairstyle and armor plates resembling the ones she wears.

I really think she’s one of the coolest-looking character designs to come out of the current Marvel Comics, and I hope she makes an appearance in live-action someday!

This references the as-of-yet untold story about the debt Deva owed Jabba for saving her life, which pulled her into several conflicts.

The costume description reads:

“Deva Lompop is a great example of why not to be indebted to one’s clients. She was under Jabba the Hutt’s ‘thumb’ for much longer than she cared.”

Imara Vex’s final costume is another comic book connection. Shani Hunter references the bounty hunter Deva Lompop. A long-lived Shani mercenary, Deva first appeared with her distinctive multicolored feathered mohawk in 2021’s War of the Bounty Hunters: Jabba the Hutt.

This references the Orphans, a group of bounty hunters that Imara belonged to. Like Imara, the other members of the group (Sear, the droid Ladybright, and their leader Chanath Cha) had all grown up parentless (even Ladybright, the last of her factory line).

The weapon description reads:

“My work with Crimson Dawn and the Orphans created a lot of infighting amongst the syndicates. Some even say it led to the syndicate war…”

The associated weapon wrap, Dawn Rifle, is based on the Tostovin Munitions JND-41 percussive cannon carried by Crimson Dawn’s soldiers.

Some of those stories were revealed in the Crimson Reign and Hidden Empire comic series from Marvel Comics in 2022-2023.

The costume’s description hints at Imara’s history with Crimson Dawn:

“Yes, I worked with Crimson Dawn. I could tell a few stories but… a bounty hunter never tells.”

Imara’s next Legendary costume is Crimson Dawn Mercenary. As the name suggests, this has her dressed in the uniform of the Hylobon Enforcers from Solo: A Star Wars Story. These Crimson Dawn belonged to the Hylobon species and were led by Aemon Gremm.

The weapon wrap for this costume is called Nomad Firestorm. I can’t pick up on any references here either, but if anyone has a clue let me know!

The next Legendary costume for Imara Vex is Nomad Grit. Not much to report here, but her left shoulder pad does bear the same insignia seen on her Marshal Protocol costume.

The weapon wrap for Imara Vex’s Aurodium Conqueror costume is called Aurodium Champion and is a gold (or aurodium) palette swap of the Marshal Centennial rifle. It features Balada’s Hypernova symbol on the stock.

Imara Vex’s next Legendary costume is Aurodium Conqueror. This is another palette swap of the Cityworld Prototype costume, this time exchanging its more monotone colors for gold (or aurodium)-accented ones. The symbol of Balada the Hutt’s Hypernova is visible on her collar.

Villainous Rifle is the weapon wrap for this costume. It features a stock resembling the top of Moloch’s staff. It also has a wooden grip and side-mounted scope like Moloch’s “snubble special” blaster pistol.

They were lead by Lady Proxima in Solo, a massive Grindalid crime boss.

The description seems to imply that Imara may have had some run-ins with the White Worms.

“Do not mess with the White Worms. They have a history of ruthless leaders, each one worse than the next.”

The next costume for Imara is also inspired by Solo, Villainous Bounty Hunter. The White Worms gang that Han once belonged to is referenced in her attire, with her wearing clothing resembling Syke’s and a helmet based on Moloch’s.

In the novel, Mimban is the colloquial name for the planet Circarpous V. It is inhabited by two species, the meek green-skinned Mimbanites (derogatorily called Greenies), and the vicious red-skinned Coway. The Coway served as the inspiration for the Mimbanese in Solo.
